The Art of Cosplay Available July 15th!

Well, you know what they say, that everything worth getting is worth waiting for. OK that's not really a saying (or maybe it is now) but if someone did say that, they would be correct as the long awaited release of The Art of Cosplay is just about upon us! This project, which has been two years in the making is soon to be a reality as the official launch will take place Monday July 15th.

It has been quite a journey indeed that has led me to creating this celebration of fandom. Indeed, there were many times during the last two years that I thought that I was crazy to attempt this and completely over my head with this project, but I always knew in my heart that I wanted to create something special that commemorated the passion of cosplayers and their craft. With The Art of Cosplay I think I have accomplished that.

I recently received a few advanced copies of the book, so to get you ready for it's release, I wanted to share with you some pictures! Also there will be more information to come as to when books will ship and of course when and where the kick off party will take place!

Sara Sundae, who is one of the featured cosplayers in The Art of Cosplay, is shown here demonstrating the size of the book. The Art of Cosplay measures 9"X12" and is 272 pages of lavishly printed awesomeness!

The Art of Cosplay is more than just pictures, there are stories that give insight from cosplayers as well as behind the scenes extras.
